Building Incrix From the Ground Up
Every company has two birthdays. Ours are two years apart. This is the full story of Incrix Techlutions: where it began, what it became, and how five very different streams ended up under one roof.
Every company has two birthdays. Ours are two years apart.
The first is 2019, when Incrix emerged, fuelled by passion and a vision we still quote: a nexus of innovation, where tech meets purpose. The second is June 2021, when that work became a registered company, Incrix Techlutions LLP.
It's easy to merge the two dates. We'd rather keep them distinct, because the gap between them says something true about us. We started by building. The formal structure came after.
This is the long-form story of Incrix Techlutions: what we are, how we're organised, what we believe, and why five very different streams live under one roof in Kovilpatti.

2019 and 2021: why we keep the dates apart
2019 is the origin. That's when the idea of Incrix took shape and the work began. The idea wasn't a narrow service offering. It was a place where technology would be used with purpose.
June 2021 is the incorporation. That's when the company was registered as a limited liability partnership, giving the work a formal home, accountability and a structure to grow into.
We've since been recognised by Startup India and DPIIT. For an Indian technology startup, that recognition is a formal acknowledgement that the company is working on innovation. It's something we're proud of, and it's also a responsibility.

What Incrix Techlutions is today
We're a technology company that turns ideas into working things: platforms, devices, brands, films and skilled people. Our tagline sums up the job: "Make your ideas alive."
We do that through five streams.

Software
Our software stream starts from a simple observation. Traditional companies take requirements and write code, and that makes software costlier to build and maintain. We work differently: we understand the problem, architect an engineering solution, and design the application on cost-effective, maintenance-friendly serverless architecture. Our stack runs from TypeScript, React, Next.js and NestJS to AWS Lambda, DynamoDB and Amazon Bedrock, with Flutter for mobile. The clearest expression of it is Classory, our multi-tenant, white-label AI learning platform.
Automation
Incrix Automation designs hardware from silicon to cloud. That covers bare-metal to RTOS firmware with OTA updates, multi-layer PCBs with in-house design-for-manufacture, on-device AI, and fleet telemetry and dashboards. Our shipping boards sit alongside education kits and NDA work: a Wi-Fi control board retrofit for legacy weighing scales, and a point-of-care Wi-Fi height-measurement device.
Branding, Education and Studio
Branding gives products and businesses an identity people remember. Incrix University builds skills across web and app development, Industry 4.0, AR/VR/MR, design, Web 3.0 and non-technical tracks such as entrepreneurship and digital marketing. Studio tells the story in pictures and film.
How the five streams connect
From the outside, five streams can look like five companies sharing an address. From the inside, they work as one system with three jobs: build, tell and teach.
The links are concrete, not theoretical:
- Classory is software built for education. It sits exactly where our software and education streams meet. Classory also appears in our branding portfolio. We brand our own products the way we brand anyone else's.
- Our education kits are hardware built for learning. Sensor, communication, relay and camera boards come out of the Automation stream and into classrooms and labs.
- Our community is our team's craft, shared openly. Solder Minds, run by our embedded architects Jegannath and Janakiram, teaches PCB, embedded and IoT design. John at Incrix, from our brand design lead Johnson, shares brand design. With #teamincrix, that's 120K+ followers.
- Studio and Branding make the rest visible. A great board or platform still has to be explained, and that's their job.

The people: fifteen Mavericks
Incrix is a team of 15 people, and we call ourselves the Mavericks. The disciplines are unusually broad for a team this size:
- Leadership and product: Avinash (Director & CEO) and Abishek (C.I.O & Product Designer).
- Engineering: Jegannath and Janakiram (Embedded Architects, who also lead course sales), Kannan P (AI back-end developer and Classory sales), and Pradeep Surya (full-stack developer).
- Design: Johnson (brand design lead), Genga Parameshwari (graphic designer) and Jon Mukesh (junior graphic designer).
- Content and editing: Arshad (content pipeline, campaigns and editing), Muthu Kumaresa (editor), Vignesh (content writer) and Kannan SK (editor and content strategist).
- Business: Aravindh (sales and marketing) and Sheirly Twinkle (administration and accounts).
Notice how many roles cross boundaries. Engineers also sell courses, and a developer also sells Classory. The effect is useful: the people who build things stay close to the people who buy and use them. We cover how that works day to day in Inside Team Incrix.
What we believe
Values are easy to write and hard to keep. These are the ones we hold ourselves to.

Where Incrix Techlutions is heading
The direction is set by the products. Classory is designed on serverless architecture for 2M+ concurrent users, so it's built for growth rather than retrofitted for it. In hardware, our R&D includes a smart irrigation system (LoRa + GSM), an AI-monitored 3D printer that can resume after a power cut, and a drone flight controller (STM32 + ESP32). The long-term ambition goes further: from microcontrollers, to our own MPU boards, and eventually to our own SoC.
That's a long road, and we know it. But it's the same road we've been on since 2019: start with the work, and let the structure grow around it.
